Wisconsin Massage Licensing is regulated by State of Wisconsin Department of Regulation & Licensing through a title act (which differs from a practice act that is common in other states). Their website offers more details on licensing but I am providing a summary Regulated by title act which allows for voluntary certification.-No Continuing Education Required. -Unable to do Bodywraps. -Must get informed consent - The informed consent shall be in writing, signed by the client and shall inform the client in writing that he or she may withdraw the consent at any time. -Unable to massage animals. -Accepts NCBTMB and The Asian Bodywork Therapy Exam from the National Certification for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCAAOM) is acceptable -Must carry liability insurance.
