BCMT offers two scheduling choices for completing the Massage Therapy Certificate Program: the 9-month or 15-month plan. Both scheduling options qualify as full-time programs under federal student aid guidelines (for those who qualify). We encourage all who are considering a career in massage therapy to join us for one of several career weekends.

Founded in 1975, the Boulder College of Massage Therapy (BCMT) celebrates 35 years of educational excellence. BCMT is recognized around the world as a premiere provider of massage therapy education and a leader in the industry. Our programs offer a powerful combination of educational excellence and balance among classic Western massage; bodywork in the Eastern tradition; clinical massage specialization; and bodywork focusing on the integration of mind, body and spirit.

BCMT gained national recognition for its self-funded research on tension headaches (published in the American Journal of Public Health) and is a member of the Massage Therapy Research Consortium. This consortium consists of a group of 10 massage schools in the United States and Canada that are dedicated to conducting rigorous studies to better understand all aspects of massage.
