Private practice massage therapist

I agree Julie. I don't really think massage therapy is a great choice for right out of high school student UNLESS they have been doing something like this at home, with family, for years. If a parent is a massage therapist or in a healthcare profession, the student generally has a better idea of the realities of the work and can be "called" to do massage. I've been a teacher in a massage school for over 20 years, and have seen the average age of students drop dramatically. Our mean age used to be 35-37 yrs and now it is more like 25-27, and lots more HS students. Not necessarily a bad thing - just s sign of changing times.
