Free Massage School Directory Listing

I am creating this Massage school directory to help massage schools increase their online presence as well as teach massage schools how to attract their ideal students to their classes - the ones that will be the most successful and then refer all their friends to your massage school. The reason I am offering this for free is to create a place where schools can be evaluated equally and not based on advertising fees like other sites. I have also noticed quite a few 'clearinghouse' types of massage school directory sites that make potential students fill out a form to get more information. This is a deceptive advertising method that is costly to your school and your professional image. Paying these directories to get leads does not have to happen if you know how to create a highly optimized website for your massage school that is filled with the answers to the questions that many have about going to massage school. It is also about getting quality back links to your site and getting listed here will create one for your massage school website.

Marketing your massage school online is different than what you do offline. Online everything is about keywords and information. What people are looking for is information. They don't want to be sold or have to give you their contact info just to get a simple question answered.

This massage school directory will also allow users to comment and rate your massage school. Send your students to your listing to post their comments. I realize this could get quite 'sticky' if an irate student decides to spam the board so will use discretion in allowing comments but will not take down negative comments.

In today's challenged economy what will make the difference in your success is using the power of the internet to promote your massage school. What people are looking for online is a massage school which isn't necessarily your school to begin with. Your website should come up to the top of the search engines when people search for 'massage school, your city or state'. It should also provide enough information to build trust with potential students so that they know your school has the reputation and support that they will need to be a successful massage therapist.

Picture your "Ideal Massage Student". Every massage school should have their own vision of their 'ideal massage student'. You will have to really get into their shoes and view your listing and your massage website (and other marketing material) from their position. People are dreaming about and wishing that they could become a massage therapist.

They want to know if it is possible for them - the 18 year old out of high school who hates math or the 54 year old looking for a meaningful career will be a good idea for them!

They want to know if the career is really possible and can they make a living as a massage therapist and support their family.

They want to know if they will be able to get a good paying job and work full time in the profession.

They want to know how they will start and run a business.

So in your directory listing answer some of those questions or write articles on your website that will give them that information that they are looking for!!!!

I can not emphasize that enough. Massage school websites are really lacking in information. Most don't even have the basic state licensing requirements or much information at all.

Answering some of the hard questions and being more up front about becoming a massage therapist will attract people who are more serious about becoming one which will make it better for your massage school in the long run. Learning to attract "Your Ideal Massage Student" will also make your school a better place to learn. It is less work when people are truly interested and want to be there. You will have less problems with students and create more successful massage therapists. All of your students will refer their friends and family to your school.

This can be done easily online through your website and creating your massage school directory listing here on this site. Just go to the main directory page and click on your state and fill out the form on that page to create a listing in this massage school directory.

Be sure to include (Copy and Paste this into the form on the school listing page and fill out as much as you can):
