Massage Referral Networks

Building Massage Referral Networks are one of the main ways to build your massage business. Word-of-mouth is still one of the best ways to get clients on your massage table.

There are two components to this - getting your client to refer their friends and family and also getting a network of health care providers and other businesses to refer to you too.

Your ideal massage client should be someone who is most likely to refer others to you. When someone likes what you do and likes the results that they get from getting a massage, they will automatically refer everyone they know to you and most often without any incentive.

Getting other health care providers to refer to you will be a process of first finding people that you would want to go to yourself or send your clients to. It is important to find providers that already understand the value of massage or are open to learning more.

Businesses and other people in your community are also a part of building a successful massage referral network. It can be anyone from the people at the deli around the corner, the restaurant across the street or the employees at the post office.

Your massage website can also be used to create your referral network. You can add a Facebook subscribe button or feed and use it to connect with your clients.

If you are just starting your massage business, the best way to get referrals is to just ask! Start with just telling people directly that you are building your business. People are often more than happy to refer people to you willingly.
