Massage Keyword Research
Massage Keyword research is the first step in building a website. Many think that the first thing you need to do is get a domain name and set up a server. It is best to plan your website first based on your massage keyword research. Everything online is about keywords - the words people use to search for websites. Search engines are in the business of getting the best results for people when they do a search. They want only the best sites to show up on the first page. The top of the first page is where you need to be to have success with your website when someone searches for your main keyword (s). Most people will search for massage, massage therapy, massage your city or something like that. Start thinking about what people will be searching for just before they find your website and you. You can also use this handy tool - search it! to help with keyword research. Just read the directions carefully in the help question marks. It takes a bit at first to figure out what it all means but don't worry - you will get the hang of it. Start with selecting "Brainstorming" in the first selection and then start with the top search - the Google Keyword Tool. Just follow the directions step by step. Try using all of the selections in step two to help you find the best keywords. The keywords will be used in your domain name and in the pages of your website and in something called the meta-tags of your website. The keywords are what will help you get found by the search engines. The beauty of all of this is that when people find your website they are already looking for massage! Your job is half done - well sort of. After the search engines find and list your website - you will need to make sure people find the listing interesting enough to click on. This is again done with keywords and creating something called a meta-tag which is a hidden part of the page that the search engines scan. They take little parts of the metatags or text from the page to create the listing for people to see. After you get people clicking on your listing the next goal is to get people to make an appointment for a massage. Since people don't know you and really don't care who you are when they first land on your website - you will need to be able to write enough information about massage so that you will build trust with your potential reader. You will also need to know how to tell people what it is that you do. Start thinking about what solution you provide for people. They only really care what is in it for them! You can learn more how to do that in the section on content. So all of this really begins with doing your massage keyword research. The tool you are using - Searchit! is part of the website building system that I use and recommend. I can also get you started and build your basic 8 page website for you or build a full 30 pages to get you started.
