Massage CEU

Massage CEU is actually a confusing term and system in the massage profession. CEU (Continuing Education Unit) is usually 1 CEU is equal to 10 hours of training but that isn't so in the massage profession. Most states require hours of massage continuing education, not a CEU which equals 10 hours of training.

Saying that a class is offering 10 CEU's would mean a 100 hour training.

You have to know what is required in your state and what the laws are in your state to fulfill you continuing education requirements.

The Continuing Education Unit (CEU) was created by IACET as a measurement of continuing education. One (1) IACET CEU is equal to ten (10) contact hours of participation in an organized, continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction and qualified instruction.
