Massage Affiliate Programs
Massage Affiliate programs are a way to create additional income from your massage website. An affiliate program is a system that allows you to promote other people's products and services and when people buy them through special links from your website to theirs, you get paid! With a website you usually get quite a bit of traffic that are not local people but who just stumble along on your site for whatever reason. This happens more with websites that do provide a fair amount of good content about massage and the muscular system. One of the most popular pages on my massage clinic website is a page on muscle tension that people find when they are searching for 'tense muscle'. I explain that most muscle tension is due to triggerpoints or knots and refer people to buy an ebook from Paul Ingram of saveyourself.ca, who was a massage therapist who turned his research and writing skills into a line of great affiliate products. You can become an affiliate easily by signing up through www.esellerate.net who manages his affiliate program. He has a series of great books on things: Another good program that you might be interested in promoting is couples massage. It is offered by Tiffany and Gary Blackman who are massage therapists who created their own ebook and video. They offer a couples massage course video download or a download and a couples massage DVD that can be sent to people who order. You can sign up for their couples massage affiliate program through www.getdpd.com The thing about promoting affiliate programs is that the best way to do that is to be a user of them and write about them from your own personal experience. I usually don't recommend things that I haven't used or read myself. That way I know first hand what I am promoting and can write more pages on my websites to promote the products. You can't just put links on your pages and expect to make money.
There is a whole science behind it and it is explained more in this free Ebook the Affiliate Masters Course from SBI! (Site Build it! which is what I use for this site and how I learned so much about creating websites!)You can create a section on massage products or sell things through amazon.com's associate program (same thing as an affiliate program).Signing up with companies is free. You usually just have to fill out an application. The trick to making this all work though is really having an information rich website that also gets a fair amount of traffic. You can take this a step farther even and create a whole website on some aspect of massage or some disease or condition that you specialize in and find more affiliate programs to promote and earn residual income from. Here are some ideas I think would be really great for a massage related site to create residual income with: - A Massage CE Calendar I have a system that I have been using that is a wordpress blog and a few plugins and using to promote local CE Calendar that I am creating. The details are in my CE site in the link.
- A website on conditions like fibromyalgia and massage
- A massage research site that outlines research and teaches massage therapists how to use it and how to get the research out to physicians.
- A whole site on just the different types of massage with indepth details on each method.
- A local massage directory
An important thing to know about promoting other people's products on your website is the fact that you need to tell people that you are making money with those products and links. It is required because of the Federal Trade Commission laws. You can read mine here - Legal Stuff Include also a privacy policy which is required if you have a site that has Google Adsense on it. www.amazon.com has their own requirements so be sure to check. ( SBI! (Site Build it!) will keep you updated on all of these things - this is the website system that I use and recommend and yes am also an affiliate of.) If you are interested in creating websites for additional income in either your own massage website or in creating a whole site just to create residual income - I would love to help you!
