Marketing Massage Schools

Marketing Massage Schools seems to be a difficult task as I see more massage schools just taking any person into their massage schools to keep their classes full. Massage schools websites are deceiving in that they will don't put any information on their sites about careers, jobs, tuition or what massage school will be like. The basic calling card type of website makes potential students sign up to be called or to come in for an appointment with an administrator. This seems to be the best way to get people to become students since the massage schools can SELL potential students on the virtues of becoming a massage therapist.

How well is that working for massage and the massage profession?

A better way to go is to perhaps start telling the truth about the massage profession and what you can really make as a massage therapist. You will actually get a much higher qualified student to come to your school - one that will become a successful massage therapist which will in turn sell your massage school to others.

The best way to Presell your massage school to potential students and to attract quality students that are really passionate about massage is to create a highly informative website that will show potential massage students that you care about their future as well as the whole massage profession. In doing so you will help build a better profession as well as keep your massage school filled with students who want to be there rater than just one's who don't want to take math in other careers.

It will be a process of educating people as to what massage can really do and what it is like to be a massage therapist. Start putting pictures of people with hairy backs, deep ugly scars and too overweight to fit on the table. The days of the glorious massage therapist are over!

Write about what your school is about and how it is different from all of the others. Write what your schools beliefs are about healing and teaching people to be massage therapists. Write why you are doing what you are doing. In doing so you will attract people who don't have to be sold on massage school and becoming a massage therapist but will come with their checkbook/debit card in their hand.

For more information on how to achieve this kind of results with just a website see the section on websites for massage therapists. It is the same thing that massage therapists will need to do to build their successful massage business. Marketing Massage Schools Using a Website
