Licensing

by Laura
(?USA?)

I am wondering what states require a medical massage background check for licensing?

Answer:
Your question is not clear - are you wanting to do medical massage or are you wondering about background checks in general?

Medical Massage is not recognized in any state and has not been defined by the profession. All you need to do to do any type of massage is a license by a state board and there are still a very few states that have no licensing at all.

Some states do require a criminal background check. You would have to check each states licensing requirements.

Response to Medical Massage Licensing

To the best of my knowledge, none of the states in the US currently require a Medical Massage background check for licensing.
