The educational program of IMT is specifically designed to facilitate the development and professional growth of every massage therapy student. Textbook knowledge, physical senses, and intuition are integrated and blended together to bring into action caring techniques to assist each client in self-healing of body, mind, and spirit. Instruction in advanced Medical Massage techniques comprises the last 30% of classes. Class size is limited to 14 students. More than 50% of the 605-hour training program incorporates hands-on learning. Director, Pamela Loutzenhiser, is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist with over 1300 hours of advanced education. She has a Master's Certification in Medical Massage, is certified in Reflexology, and is one of the instructors at IMT. (Please question the Masters' certification in Medical Massage as currently there is no such recognition in the US.)
