Idaho Massage Licensing

Idaho Massage Licensing is non-existent at this time. There is mention of their being a Freedom of Access Law but I could not find anything on it on any of the websites.

The American Massage Therapist Association(AMTA) of Idaho website has no information at all.

In an unlicensed state that does not necessarily mean that you don't need any training or credentials or licensing. Each city will then regulate massage therapists.

Boise requires massage therapists to apply for a massage establishment license. See Boise Idaho Massage Licensing.

Let me know if you have any more information on massage licensing or what it is like to be a massage therapist in Idaho.

For more information on what a career is like in massage or to learn more about how to choose a massage school see the Massage Career Guide - The Truth About Becoming a Massage Therapist.
