iam working for a very known massage company and overworked and underappreicaiated

by JOSUE
(MIDLOTHIAN, ILL )

well after working for so hard in school putting long hours. hoping massage therapy would open a door to a better living. I find all my fellow massage therapists are over worked as well and in need of taking on a second job. after a five or six massage with little or no lunch breaks. I find it so sad to see us breaking down and struggling in this career. i see the only one getting the better end of the deal are the clients. Mean while our bodies break down. Is there any help out there. any one .WE NEED YOU.

Help from www.massage-career-guides.com One of the things you need to learn about is boundaries and learning about setting and enforcing yours. You were the one who took the job and continue to work there. You just have to take better care of yourself so your body does not break down when you are working so much. I just heard about someone who does 35-40 massages a week and is loving it. You can just start telling the owner what you need and what you need to make to be able to stay there or start looking for a new higher paying job or start your own business. Both are out there waiting for you. You can make $45 an hour or more if you know how to sell yourself to an employer and that is meant that you know how to show the employer that you are worth it...what will you do to increase their business? Tell them that and show them a plan and implement it! Good Luck!
