This online home study cognitive Ethics Continuing Education course offers the professional massage therapist an opportunity to focus on perspectives on ethics, establishing and maintaining healthy boundaries, informed consent and intake forms, codes of ethics for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), The American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), The Texas Department of State Health Services, Massage Therapy Division; and the Florida State Massage Therapy Association (FSMTA). Also included in the course notebook are the NCBTMB Standards Of Practice V; the complete NCBTMB Standards Of Practice, and a list of helpful resources for advanced study.

This cognitive course does not include protocols directly related to massage therapy or the manipulation of soft tissue; the focus of this course is exclusively on Ethics. The course content includes the NCBTMB Standard of Ethics.

6 hours of CE credit for Licensed Massage Therapists.

Ariana Vincent, LMT, MTI, NCTMB, is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapy Instructor and her courses are accepted in all states that accept classes offered by Nationally Certified Providers including, but not limited to, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and many other states. While the majority of the states do accept online CE course credits, it is to your benefit to verify prior to taking continuing education courses whether or not your licensing state accepts a specific online CE course for credit.
