Can a massage therapist practice if they have gential herpes?


Answer: yes because genitals are not involved in massage.

As far as other communicable diseases, you are also taught how to deal with them and work with clients safely.

Herpes is a disease that can pop up on different parts of the body when the disease progresses. Would it be unethical for a therapist to work on clients without informing them that she has blisters on her face or limbs. Touching the face and then touching a client can spread the disease.
