Breast Massage

Breast Massage is a legitimate type of massage when done by a trained massage professional or doctor. Because it of course can easily be confused with sexual advances, it is important to have a clear understanding of the benefits of breast massage and how to work in a manner that is non-threatening.

Since the breast area is surrounded by many lymphatic vessels and wearing bras can constrict these areas breast massage can be an important part of breast cancer prevention and treatment for recovering from breast cancer. The rib area underneath the breasts are also an important area to be worked on to increase circulation and align posture.

In some states massage licensing prohibits the massage therapist from touching the breasts. You can learn to work the areas surrounding the breasts and also use the client's hand to place in areas to be worked.

There are many good articles and books on doing breast massage and more research and techniques are needed.
